Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve started with a Pajama Party Play Date! Angela and Brayden came over in the morning and Brayden and Taylor exchanged presents. This was the first time they actually somewhat played together. Since Taylor is much more active now and moving all over the place I don't think Brayden thinks she is as boring!:)

After Angela and Brayden left we gave Taylor a bath and put her in her MUCH too small bathrobe. The robe doesn't even cover her diaper. She does enjoy cruising around in her brand new car while sporting the snug robe. Thanks Aunt Jenny and Uncle Rich for her new wheels.

As you can see she is a very laid back driver

In this picture Hampden is saying "Hey annoying little girl who has taken all of my mommy's attention, is there room for me in your new car"? Taylor said "Yes, you can have a lift but the bad black dog is not allowed"

After we went to Christmas Eve service, we went over to Aunt Kelly and Uncle Fitz's house.

Here is Taylor modeling in front of their tree

Click on the picture and you can see her two teeth

Watch out Taylor he is coming for you....

He got you!

B and T in the biggest bean bag I have ever seen. B really wants to be in the bean bag with T, cant you tell?

Taylor finally found the Christmas tree on Christmas morning. She had crawled past it many times and played with the presents under it but the tree itself and its ornaments meant absolutely nothing to her. I guess since all the presents were gone she finally took a liking to the tree. Thank goodness she just found it because now she pulls the ornaments and lights off.

Playing with the tree is much more fun then playing with my boring old toys

Yay! Look at my new glittery toys.

After we finished opening all of our presents we went over to Gin Gin and PaPa's house to open presents with them, Uncle William, Aunt Alice and Uncle Austin.
Aunt Alice and Uncle William are foreseeing a ballerina in Taylor's future. She looked super cute and didn't mind her new tutu

She could even crawl in her new tutu. Is that not the cutest thing you have ever seen?

Aunt Alice and Taylor playing with the Jack in a Box

More kisses from Uncle William. There are probably LOTS of jealous girls right now all over Virginia. Taylor is getting all of Uncle William's kisses

"This is the way the ladies ride, the ladies ride, the ladies ride"

"This is the way the big girls ride"

Taylor giving some love to Bailey

Where's Taylor?

Peek-a-Boo...Here I am!!

I am not sure what is going on here but I think it is pretty funny how we all end up on the floor now. Why sit in a chair or on a sofa when being on the floor with T is much more fun!

I THINK I am a Redskin Fan...

John and I took Alexander, Anne Taylor and Baby Schaaf to the Redskin game last night. Note to self I should maybe rethink going to any sporting event which takes place outside in the month of December. Not only did we freeze, but the Redskins lost so bad, it was painful to watch. Even though I was pretty sure I did not have any toes or fingers left it was fun being with Alexander and Anne Taylor and being in Fedex Field.

John and I tailgating before the game

Alexander, Anne Taylor and Baby Schaaf. Baby Schaaf is due in March!! We cant wait to meet him or her. Tay Tay needs a new friend that she can beat up. Shes tired of all these older kids beating her up

Poor Frank the Snowman

Hampden and Aubrey got a little hungry! Guess thats my first lesson in snowman building. Probably not a good idea to use cranberries.

Winter Wonderland!!

We got some SERIOUS snow this weekend. It started snowing Friday evening about 5pm and didn't stop until last night. We went to Richmond Friday night to celebrate Christmas with the Worthingtons and got snowed in. If you want to get snowed in anywhere that is the house to get stuck in. 14 people spent the night Friday night. We spent Saturday playing in the snow, snuggling by the fire and enjoying a few daytime cocktails. Why not we couldnt go anywhere. We had heard that Fredericksburg got hit pretty hard by the snow storm. CNN was doing live feeds from Fredericksburg and the Today Show even talked about our small city. We were shocked when we got home and saw all the snow. We definitely got over 2 feet of snow. If my car was not in the driveway we would not have known where it was. The dogs are in heaven and cannot stop running and jumping through the snow. John and I got half of our driveway shoveled which is the worst job in America. We will pay big bucks to anyone who wants to finish the rest. I took a break to make a snow man. I really dont think I have ever made a snow man. Maybe that explains why mine looks a little funky. We put Taylor in her full snow suit...Thanks Clayton and Mary. It took John 10 minutes to get her fully dressed and she was out in the snow for maybe a minute. It was safe to say she doesnt like the snow and prefers to be sitting inside in the heat. Here are some pictures of our beautiful winter wonderland. We are going to have a white Christmas...or maybe muddy white Christmas by that point!!

View from our opened back door going to our deck.

Snow piled high on the hot tub. How I would love for the hot tub to disappear when the snow disappears

Guess we wont be grilling for awhile

The snow is literally almost up to my knees. You also might be wondering why Taylor is outside in the snow without any socks or shoes on??? I don't have any excuses. She rips her socks off faster then I can keep them on.

View from out front door. All you see is white.

The dogs have been busy helping us make a path

John getting ready to go work. Look how high the snow comes up on him

No more working time to play. I am building my snowman! His name is Frank

The final product

Taylor and Frank

She liked the snow much more when I was holding her and she was just looking at it. Go figure she doesn't like getting wet or being cold. Wonder where she gets that from???

My Three Prisoners

Why do baby gates cause me so much enjoyment and torture others in the Moss house?? We have now had the baby gate up for about three weeks. John regularly trips on it, the dogs are regularly trapped behind it and not to their enjoyment and Taylor is amazed by it. I guess really Taylor and I are the only fans. She loves to climb on it and any time we pass it she just stares and points at it. I am sure this little fascination will come quickly to an end. I on the other hand think its great fun and love laughing at them when I am on the other side....the free side!

Taylor is thinking my new toy! Wonder how long those joyous feelings will last toward the gate? You might also be wondering where her other white sock is? I am wondering the same thing.

She now has some company

Help!!!

I also wanted to share some pictures of Taylor from Sunday. On Saturday it stated snowing here at about 11am. It pretty much snowed all day but sadly not that much stuck to the ground. It sure was beautiful as it was coming down. So Sunday afternoon I took her out and sat her in it. We were outside for a whole minute before she was cold and I was cold.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to Florida to see my parents. All of my siblings met at my parents house. So Thanksgiving day was tons of fun and there were lots of grandchildren running around. My family LOVES games and has a tendency to get a little aggressive in our game playing. Basically you cannot utter the word parcheesi around my family because my dad will cry and my aunt will scream "cheater". Miraculously we were able to play some fun outside games and no blood was shed. In all seriousness it was a wonderful Thanksgiving and the best part was being with family. I haven't laughed or been so silly in a long time.

We flew to Florida and I was super nervous about Taylor's behavior on the flight. She did great. She slept for half and then just sat and played for the rest. She had a little fan club by the time we got off the plane.
Here are LOTS of pictures from our visit to Florida:

WARNING BAD HAIR

Taylor getting into Johns suitcase. "Please don't leave me"!!

Mimi and Taylor reading a book

Crawling contest - Remember when I said we liked games. Also, remember when I said we have some cheaters in the family. Taylor might have taken a little head start. William crawls at lightening speed so he won in the end and that's why he is letting her start first.

"Mimi, its okay that we play under your glass coffee table, right?"

Aunt Heather and Taylor on Thanksgiving

Poor William just couldn't stay awake any longer

"What time is lunch being served?"

Taylor loves Thanksgiving

I'm sure you all noticed that Taylor's crawl is "unique". She crawls with one leg stretched out at all times. Since she does this it causes her leg to come out of her pant legs. So whenever she is crawling around in pant bubbles or footed PJs you see her pant leg just dragging behind. You can see what I'm talking about above.

We made Taylor "gangsta" and fixed the problem. She could get around much better with her pants rolled up.

Taylor and Aunt Jenny

Cousin Jake and Ghetto Fabulous or drool box

All the Grandchildren - As Johns Aunt Kelly would say "Cousin Picture"

I love this picture!! Taylor, Me and Aunt Kathryn

Cousins - This was after lunch that's why William looks full:)

My Siblings - Sherri, Kathryn, Rich, Me and Heather

The whole gang! Callahans, Williams, Pankows and Mosses

MiMi and Papi taking William and Taylor for a stroll

Taylor and William were really cute with each other this time. They interacted much more and were intrigued with one another. They had a few disagreements which I captured. This is just the beginning of MANY more meltdowns to come....

"William stole my TOY"!!!! "Taylor tattled on me"

Dear God, Please make this abuse end quickly and be painless. Love you, Taylor

Painless maybe not. I love the way William is looking at her like...Whats your problem

William is thinking shes already crying and ruining our photo- op why not slap her one more time. I don't think Taylor liked her pajamas!

One side note. My brother and his family came all the way to Florida from Nashville and they were nice enough to bring with them some of their friends. Pneumonia, sinus infection and ear infection. Their friends spread their love. Myself, John, My mom, My dad, Kathryn, Jerry and Jake were all victims. Even my sisters dog Oliver became a victim. Thanks for coming Rich, Jenny and William. You sure do know how to spread the love.
