Company, Dinner Guests and a BIG Win for Auburn

My sister, Kathryn, came to visit us this weekend. We had a wonderful time with her and were very sad to see her leave. Since Taylor's "stranger danger" has finally started to depart, they had a good time playing with each other. I think Taylor might have gained a few extra pounds with all the extra snacks Kathryn bribed her with. I kept trying to get Taylor to say Kack, but after hearing what Taylor thinks Kack sounds like I decided maybe we will wait awhile on that word. For a hint....in Taylor's mind Kack sounds like what you call South Carolina's mascot. Not so appropriate for an 18 month old to be saying:)
On Saturday night we had Krista and John, Whitney and Jon and one of Kathryn's friends, Kim, over for dinner and to watch the Auburn game. Auburn once again tortured me through another long, close game. I think they are trying to see if they can make Baby Moss come early. Lots of pictures below of our very fun weekend.

Aren't they pretty?

Aunt Kack decided to role Taylor up in a rug and make her a human burrito.

This is what Taylor thought about that!

We haven't taken a family shot in forever. So here we are!

The Rileys thought they were coming over for a quiet dinner and football watching evening. They were so wrong! Taylor very quickly had them both on the floor playing with blocks. Sorry guys, but thanks for entertaing her.

Taylor had to play with Aunt Kack's braclets before she could leave.

In this picture they are still playing with braclets and Aunt Kack is now feeding her pretzles.

Aunt Kack please come back soon and visit us!

Bye Bye Willie B!!

We said our goodbyes to William today:(
Our hearts our sad that he is leaving us until May, but we are SO very excited for him and his new adventure. My only request is that he does not come back married to some French girl....UNLESS she is going to buy us a chateau in France. William and Taylor had some serious bonding going on so I know she will be really missing her Gaga!
William, if you ever need a Taylor fix, check out this post!

Taylor Has a Thing for Furry Red Heads

The Moss Family plus Elmo went for an evening stroll last night. Taylor loves pushing her baby doll, Elmo, blocks or tennis balls in her stroller. Elmo was the lucky recipient last night. Of course I didn't have my camera so here are some more bad quality phone pics:)

The stroll begins...

She was doing a good job pushing Elmo in the stroller. The thought even passed through my mind that she could push Baby Moss after he/she arrives. That thought disappeared very quickly after she started making the stroller do wheelies and Elmo's smooth ride turned into a very dangerous bumpy ride!

We are very excited because George Richard Pankow will be born in a couple of hours! So please pray for my brother and sister-in-law.

Dinner and Celebrations!

Angela and I had our monthly dinner Thursday night with the kiddos. B and T's dinner behavior had been improving, but this months was a digression. They were wild and everywhere. Thank goodness the club was mostly empty or I am sure we might have gotten a few looks from other diners.
These pictures are taken from my cell phone so the quality is not great.

Taylor was obsessed with this old broken highchair. Taylor did not appreciate Brayden trying to get in the highchair with her. There are multiple things wrong with this picture, but my main question is....Why is my 18 month old girl removing a 2 year old boy from the highchair? Why do I have the big, bully girl?

Two weeks ago Taylor was bitten three times at daycare. She was bitten from three different kids and all my notes home said that Taylor was bitten because she wouldn't release her toy to that child. When I look at this picture and I see Taylor pushing Brayden out of the chair while pulling his hair I see why she is bitten on a daily basis:)!!

Look who was victorious in the end. I am not a proud mom at this point. More like an embarrassed mom apologizing to Angela and Brayden, but laughing deep down at my child's behavior.

Brayden did finally get his chance to play with the chair!

Thanks to Terry J. or T-Maw, Taylor is very fashionable and sports her own pair of Joe Jeans. Saturday was her first day to wear them and I noticed an extra jump in her step and her behavior was better.

Terry gave her the top as well and I immediately asked if it came in my size as well. It doesn't:(

Lastly, we are getting ready to loose William for a LONG 7 months to La Reunion...which is a French island located in the Indian Ocean kind of close to Africa. William received a grant from the French Government and will be teaching English to some lucky kids. We are very excited for him and sad to see him leave. I am worried about my hubbie since he talks to his brother on a daily basis. I am going to have one sad John for awhile. Saturday night Ginnie and Jimbee hosted a good-bye dinner for William.

The whole gang!

The three siblings...Alice-Cole, William and John

Ben and Anglea

My hubbie started the night out with a toast and many sweet ones followed...

Labor Day Weekend

We went to see Aunt Susie "Great" and Uncle Wayne "Big Man" in Cashiers, NC for Labor Day. We had the most amazing weather which got me all excited for fall. Our visit was wonderful and I am pretty sure we all gained 5 pounds from all the good food we ate. Thanks Great and Big Man for a wonderful long weekend! I was very poor with the camera so I only have a few photos.

Cashiers has one of the most amazing playgrounds that I have ever seen. Taylor was a huge fan of this playground and I was a huge fan of the "tired out Taylor" that resulted from the playground.

Taylor enjoying the swings

Going through the tunnel

Going down the kiddie slide

I am pretty sure the designers of this playground did not envision a 6'6" man going down their slides, but Taylor couldn't go by herself so John happily obliged.

Taylor and Great getting ready to go down to Greats amazing Garden.

My morning view at 6:45 am when we were packing to leave. I certainly didn't want to leave!!

I can say this plane ride was better then last time, but it was still not enjoyable or fun. Taylor does not like sitting on our laps for long periods of time. She is not impressed with looking out the window or with the planes safety manuals or with the 50 toys I packed. What does interest her are the peoples hair in front of us, the people sitting behind us, the aisle and mostly the exit door off of the plane. If there was an escalator on the plane she would have been in heaven and I don't think we would have heard a peep out of her. She did express her feelings or rage for about 3 minutes which felt like 30 minutes. By the time it was over John and Taylor were covered in sweat and I was wondering if I could jump out of the plane. By the time I hit the baggage claim I was wondering when our next trip would be!
