Yes, We are Alive!

I get a big fat F in the blog department! I'm sorry my life has been insane lately. We are trying to get the nursery ready, get Taylor ready for her big move to a big girl bed, I'm about to be unemployed so work has been crazy, Elfy Susan has been buying XMAS presents like crazy, and apparently we live in a forest because I have never raked so many leaves in my entire life!! How silly of me to forget that I had my 213th cold for the year last week and thought I was either going to have to get some serious drugs or have my hubby leave me if I didn't get my cough in check. I went with option 1!

Since we just had Thanksgiving I think it is appropriate to share that I am thankful and in love with Taylor's new hairstyle!!

Ohh yes, that would be a pony tail!! Ohh yes, that would be yogurt down her pretty dress from Bess!! Ohh yes, she is wearing her water shoes in November!!

In case you needed another view

and a back view!!

Taylor cheesing for the camera

Taylor and her second favorite person in the world....we all know who is #1!

I would like to say my blog posts will become regular again, but I cant make that promise. I am going to REALLY try!! Happy Holidays!!

Saturday Night Play Date!

Taylor's heart was broken because I took away her blanket that she had completely covered in yogurt. As she was in the middle of a major meltdown I looked at her and said "If you want to go see Brayden say Momma". The tears immediately stopped and the saddest sounding "Momma" came out. The meltdown was over and we put on our jackets and headed to the Hall's. If its always that easy to end temper tantrums we will be heading to the Halls a lot!!
Here are some pictures from our evening at the Halls:

They were watching some movie on the computer while attempting to sit in the same seat. After they both ended up on the floor we decided two chairs might be better.

Enjoying their movie

Rock band time

Taylor showing her mad keyboard skills

Here comes Brayden...

Time to cut the grass. Taylor does everything that Brayden does so thank goodness they had two lawn mowers.

I told Angela we need to give them swiffers so at least they are some what cleaning the house while they play this game over and over again! Next time I will come over with mops and vacuums.

Halloween Weekend!

Guess my last post title jinxed me! I have not been blog happy lately, but I am hopefully back! We had a very fun Halloween weekend. It started Friday morning with a Halloween Party Mommies Group. I don't have that many pictures because my child was really getting into the Halloween spirit and being a little terror! Saturday night Ben, Angela and Brayden came over and we watched Auburn put a hurting on Ole Miss! Brayden and Taylor played and played and played. Bedtimes were after 9:00pm and we all paid for it the next day! The Halls came back over Sunday for our first trick-er-treating experience! It was by far the cutest thing I have ever seen! They were so adorable walking up to the houses. Sometimes Brayden would say "Trick-er-Treat" and other times it was "more candy please". Taylor would just stand there clutching her bucket in one hand and a bag of peanut m&m's in the other hand. They thoroughly enjoyed it and really loved all the candy they received. Prepare yourself LOTS of pictures!!

We tried to get a group photo at mommies group. You might be wondering where Taylor is??....she is trying to climb up my leg, while crying, while I am trying to take the photo! No group photo for her!

Elmo in a much happier mood now! Sorry Stacey that Taylor took a liking to running on your white sofas! I did take her shoes off:)

One of Taylor's friends Eve! Cutest little lady bug. Eve and Taylor have a special little Elmo bond

Saturday Night:

Taylor and Brayden's favorite activity. Jumping from the ottoman to the sofa

Then a few tackles take place and then back to the ottoman...

Sunday:

GinGin and PaPa came over and brought Taylor some Halloween goodies. One was a tickle me Elmo that laughs and rolls on the ground.

She was not so sure about tickle me Elmo!

Brayden and Taylor getting a little exercise in before their candy eating explosion takes place. They count to three, say go and then off they run. This little exercise was done multiple times!

Meet Elmo!

Meet the hard working United States Postal Service

Taylor and dada getting ready to go trick-er-treating

The trick-er-treating group minus John. Angela, Brayden, Ben, Laura, myself and Elmo

Walking up to our first house....guess my head didn't make the cut!

Brayden would ring the doorbell...

and then the goods were passed out!

Please notice...bucket in one hand and peanut m&m's in the other

In this picture Taylor is trying to eat her newly received candy through the wrapper!

Checking out all the good candy they received.

Clutching on to their buckets for dear life. Brayden had to hold his a little tighter since his partner seemed to have wondering hands.

Let the sampling begin!

Halloween was never one of my favorite holidays because lets be honest Christmas rocks. Those feelings quickly changed when my sweet hubby proposed to me 6 years ago on Halloween! Now I love it! Don't judge my outfit I THOUGHT I was going to a Halloween party where you must where orange and black!

I Have Been Camera Happy....So Prepare Yourself!!

Taylor and I belong to a play group that meets every Friday morning at different locations. This past Friday we met at Snead's Farm. If you have little ones and you have not been to Snead's Farm you must go. Its free during the week and only $5.00 on the weekends. It has tons of animals, swings, slides, pumpkins and sunflowers to pick. We were there for 2 1/2 hours and I had one exhausted little baby!

Swinging on the tire horse swing

Walking into the barn to go play in the hay.

Pushing a dump truck. I try so hard to make her girly, but she always seems to want to play with the dump trucks, John Deere tractors, and dirt!! I am blaming this on all the boys in her life.

Back to swinging

As you can see Taylor LOVES swings!!

Of course Taylor found the farms dog

Chillin with some pumpkins

Ohh how I have missed that face

Friday afternoon Taylor got to play with both GinGin and Poppy!

Getting tickled by GinGin

What me? I would never do that GinGin

Taylor and Poppy

Now being tickled by Poppy

Being silly and playing games with Poppy

Saturday night we went to Richmond to go see our good friends Anne Taylor, Alexander and Isabel. I didn't even get to hold Miss Isabel because my jealous little daughter would start to cry when I even got close to her. Wow does she have a rude awakening in store for her!!

Isabel and Taylor playing with a toy. I am sure this will not be a surprise, but Taylor basically nudged her way underneath the toy and took over.

Isabel would pull Taylor's hair bow and....

Taylor would turn around and say "Noooo"

Taylor was very intrigued with Isabel, but definitely more intrigued with all of her toys

7 month old Isabel. She is also a little March baby
