Ohh What a Weekend!

To make a long story short Taylor has had a few bed swaps lately. We moved her to her big girl bed in December right before her brother made his debut. In a nut shell she quickly went back into the crib after his arrival. She is quite the con artist who can escape from anything. Last week she finally figured out how to climb out of her crib even with the mattress on the FLOOR. We have a little gymnast on our hands. So she is back in her big girl bed and we have resorted to locking her in her room. She has pretty much adjusted now, but nap times are still pretty humorous. She climbs in and out of her bed with her 3 lovies and 3 blankets and always turns her sound machine on and off. Instead of taking full advantage of nap time I usually am sitting watching her on the monitor letting her entertain me. Here is a picture of the baby monitor showing Taylor what she does best at nap time....

Yes, that would be not napping

Taylor's favorite thing right now are her shoes. They are never off her feet. She puts them on as soon as she wakes up every morning, half the time on the wrong feet:).

We had a birthday party on Saturday and Rawlings hung with his new BFF Emily

This morning we started getting ready at 9:30 am for 11:00 am church. Yes, it takes us that long to get out of the house these days. We had not been at Church for more then 5 minutes when sadly enough a fire broke out upstairs near the organ. Thankfully nobody was hurt, besides the 4 old ladies John trampled running out of the church to go get Taylor from the nursery. Our beautiful church just completed a gorgeous renovation so hopefully there was not that much extensive damage.

He slept for the whole thing. I am pretty sure I am 10 pounds lighter because pushing a double stroller is a whole new ball game!

Pictures of the Day!

Even in 30 degree weather Taylor makes me push her on her swing! Since it is pure joy for her guess I can handle the cold for a bit.

Meet Rawlings

Sorry for the MAJOR delay!! We had some serious computer issues and I was thinking that we were back in the stone age. Our sweet baby BOY was born on December 30th at 9:30 am. He weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. He is absoultely adorable and already getting so big. His big sissy is now back in our good graces, but she was on the VERY Naughty list for awhile. Taylor loves HER baby and loves to give him kisses. She can say Rawlie, but prefers to call him baby. Hopefully he wont be baby for his whole life. Here are lots of pictures:

Rawlings and me hanging in the hospital

Wish he would do more of this in the evenings. Every three hours waking up to say HIII is not cutting it!
