Two Bows are Better then One!!

Every night I lay out Taylor's outfit and bow for daycare since I don't see her in the morning. This morning she wore a lime green and white seersucker bubble with hot pink flamingos on it. John always calls me after he drops her off. This is our conversation:

John: Was I supposed to put the light pink bow or red bow in her hair?

Susan: I laid out a hot pink bow for you

John: was the bow more red?

Susan: No, it was hot pink and I attached it to her outfit

John: I think I got the right bow. I put a bow in her hair that some what matched the bow on her outfit.

Susan: There was not a bow on her outfit that was her hair bow!

John: opps she is wearing a red bow

Hopefully her new friends are not making fun of her instead they think she is making a fashion statement

A red bow goes beautifully with a lime green and hot pink outfit.

The best part of the story was when I went to pick her up she was still wearing both bows. I am not sure why the little ladies at daycare thought that was acceptable:)

Thirsty Anyone...

John decided yesterday that Taylor looked a little thirsty and wanted some of his water. So he poured a little in her mouth and she LOVED it. She kept opening her cute little mouth for more. I am pretty sure by looking at her dress after that more then half ended up on her!

They call this fun???

Angela and I ran in a 10 mile race yesterday preparing for our half marathon over labor day. Thank goodness we had little cheerleaders there to cheer us on.

Cliff Note Version of Summer!

Our summer has been very, very busy. Here are some fun highlights:

In June we went to Corolla, NC and went to the beach.
The last remaining crew at the beach

Taylor loved the beach!

Practicing her Oooooo's

We were so happy that Angela, Ben and Brayden could come and join us

Taylor got to hang out with William Scribner....you can tell she was very impressed

For the 4th of July, we went to visit Aunt Susie "Great" and Big Man in Cashiers, NC. We had a wonderful time. They had a Sip-n-See for Taylor. All of their Cashiers friends came and met her.

Happy 4th of July

We love Great and Big Man

At the end of July, we went to Nags Head with Rich, Jenny and my adorable nephew, William. It was our first family trip together, and we hope there are many more to come.

Taylor is checking out William

Time to blog....

So I figured I would start a blog about our new little family. John and I were blessed with a beautiful baby girl on March 25, 2009. She was HUGE...9 pounds 3 ounces and I was afraid she was going to come out dancing and talking. She has been the most amazing little (well not that little) baby.
